Fabrizio Romano reports Juventus have already opened talks for Riccardo Calafiori while waiting to complete the Felipe Anderson deal.

Fabrizio Romano’s latest reports suggest that Juventus are already taking shape ahead of next season.

The Italian transfer expert reported on Monday night that the Bianconeri were close to finalising an agreement to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio.

The ex-Porto and West Ham winger won’t extend his expiring contract with the Biancocelesti, so he will join the Old Lady on a free transfer at the end of the season.

In the meantime, the Bianconeri are also working to strengthen their defence as Romano claims talks to sign Bologna‘s Riccardo Calafiori have already begun.

The Roma academy product moved to the Stadio Dall’Ara from Basel last summer and has become a key player under Thiago Motta this season, making 33 appearances across all competitions.

According to Romano, Juventus are informed about a sell-on clause held by Basel, which sold Calafiori to Bologna for just €4m last summer.
